When we look at the condition of our hearts, we recognise that it is stained by the bad things we do; or the actions that we haven’t taken that we know we should have. But the wonderful news is that when we turn to God with repentant and contrite hearts, He pours out His never-ending grace and mercy. He creates in us a clean heart and He renews a right spirit within us.
