What does it mean to be a disciple of Jesus? How does this really impact our lives? In the passage for this reflection, we see that following Jesus is not an easy path. It is a costly one. And we have to choose whether we truly want to submit completely to Jesus’ authority or whether we’d rather continue living life our own way. Are we willing to recognise God’s authority over our lives? Are we willing to lay down the crown of our lives and submit to the King of the World?
