It is important to develop good, healthy habits that enable us to connect with God and with others. There are many good habits that we can grow in our lives that help us to sustain a deep relationship with God. Who helps you when you want to change the way you live? Our ultimate help comes from God. If we do not involve God, then we cannot hope to change anything. But God also gives us Christian brothers and sisters to turn to, to find support and encouragement. What stops us from depending on one another? What paralyses us from receiving support and from offering it? And how can we counteract those things? Read more

Transforming our bad habits and sinful behaviours is hard. And it is impossible to do on our own. But who helps you when you want to change the way you live? Our ultimate help comes from God. If we do not involve God, then we cannot hope to change anything. But God also gives us Christian brothers and sisters to turn to, to find support and encouragement. James tells us to confess our sins to each other so that we can be healed. Do you have the courage to follow James’ instructions to see healing in ourselves, in our relationships with others, and in the Church? Read more

The way we perceive the world is influenced by so many different factors. And so our viewpoint is never objective, it is flawed, highly individual, subjective. Our perception influences the way we behave, what we say and do. This means that sometimes our perspective can lead us into paths that are not of God. Which is why it is important to lift our eyes and ask God to give us a heavenly perspective, to be able to look at situations through God’s eyes. Read more

But God longs to help us deal with our pain - if we only take the time to seek Him and His healing.
