Recognising our Identity in Christ
We constantly try to reinvent ourselves so that we fit in more, find acceptance or satisfaction. But we can only find our true identity in Christ, who redeems us and welcomes us into the family of God. Through Jesus, we are a new creation, we are loved, chosen, children of God. Forgiving the Past to Heal the Future
As we continue to journey into this New Year, take time to reflect on the year that has just been, to allow God to heal the wounds of the past. When we are hurt or betrayed, we can be tempted to either try to bury it, sweeping it under the carpet and trying to ignore the pain coming from that wound. Or we become angry or resentful, allowing bitterness to build up in us. Read more
