In Psalm 12, David cries out to God because he lived in a culture of lies and unfaithfulness. His words paint a picture that seems very familiar to us today, as we too live in a world of dishonesty and distrust. But while the psalm shows the worldly situation to be full of lies, David points us to God - whose word is flawless, purified and refined.

When the dishonesty and darkness of the world threatens to overwhelm us; when we feel tempted to join in the lies. Let us turn to the God of Truth and trust in Him.
