From Terror to Reassurance
The Life of Elijah / 4
After the dramatic miracles on Mount Carmel, Elijah finds himself experiencing a moment of doubt and uncertainty, which spirals until he is in a pit of despair, wanting his life to end. But God tends to him and shows Elijah that God works through both the big and bold and also the ordinary, stillness and silence. God sits with Elijah in his pain and helps restore him to a place of peace.
How can God restore you? Are you struggling or despairing at the moment. Allow God to sit with you in your pain, to lift you up from your pit of despair and to bring you reassurance and love.
