We begin our Lent Series, using the Bloomsbury publishing 2026 Lent Book: Easter in Disguise, by Liz Dodd.

As we think about Lent, we consider how to live more like Jesus, especially in regard to His pursuit of radical justice. Over Lent we will be looking at different ‘spiritualities’ or ways to encounter God.

This week we consider the spirituality of solidarity. Jesus came to earth to live a human life, the ultimate act of solidarity. He lived and served among the poor, the marginalised, the overlooked. How can we follow Jesus’ example and stand in solidarity with others?
